Choosing Trendy Fashion Jewelry

Jewelry serves several purposes. It enhances what you're wearing, helps you look pulled together, and expresses your own individuality. Sometimes, jewelry can also be an expression of love, such as in the case of an engagement or wedding ring. However, when it comes to trendy fashion jewelry, it's almost always a case of accessorizing a particular look.

There are no rules when it comes to choosing trendy fashion jewelry, but there are some tips that can help you pick the right pieces. If you're wearing a low cut or scoop neck top, a choker necklace can add a sexy and interesting look. For a higher necked top, go for long necklaces. One trend lately has been extra long necklaces worn in multiple strands.

Another trendy fashion jewelry choice is a big ring. Lately starlets have been spotted wearing ultra large rings all over Hollywood. If the big ring trend isn't for you, then go for another hot trend – stacks of bracelets. Forget about one or two bangles and pile them on!

Want to accentuate toned arms? Try an arm cuff that wraps around your upper arm for a sensual look that works well with any tank top or strapless ensemble. Another trendy fashion jewelry item is the belly chain. If you've got super toned abs and are wearing a midriff bearing top, try a chain that wraps around your waist.

When it comes to accentuating your ears, the big trend these days is chandelier earrings, the bigger the better. Dangly earrings look great with everything from a casual tee and baseball cap to an elegant evening gown.

Another trend in the jewelry world is the Victorian look. Make any outfit look a little more sophisticated with strands of pearls, marcasite silver jewelry, burnished gold, choker necklaces on black satin and velvet ribbons, and elaborate beaded necklaces in sparkling ebony and rich ruby. Or go classic with an elegant cameo brooch.

Basically, the only rule for trendy fashion jewelry is wear what you love. You don't have to spend a fortune to look great, and today's costume jewelry choices are a testament to that. Choose pieces that you feel confident wearing, and you'll look great every time!
